A 21st century start-up founded by oboist and aspiring Aerospace engineer Toby King-Cline

I have been immersed in music and aerospace from an early age, playing oboe and building planes. While studying at the Royal Academy of Music I knew I could improve reed making tools, which have hardly changed in decades. Traditional tools are heavy, often cumbersome, very expensive, and blunt so quickly. My response was OB3. Its focus to innovate and re-invent reed making tools, and bring them into the 21st century. Every OB3 product is "always sharp" by utilising low cost utility knife blades; replacing the blade when needed takes seconds and costs pennies.  The whole tool range is carbon neutral & biodegradable using bioplastics. To enhance precision they are light, ergonomically designed, and manufactured using the latest 3D printing technology. This re-invention means the price is affordable for all.
